BioLube TJC is a Green Dope Thread Joint Compound readily biodegradable for use in making up and breaking out drill string components, casing and tubing plus other threaded connections. Green Dope is formulated with high quality vegetable-base oil and non-metallic solids, providing excellent protection against galling and seizing. This formula is also highly resistant to water washout and corrosion. It applies across a wide downhole temperature range. Green Dope is a premium quality, non-toxic alternative to petroleum oil based thread compounds, many of which contain a high percentage of metallic solids.
